Amber stays in her tent, tugging a top over her shoulders, wriggling into her jeans. The woods are quiet. No women around. Good. She yanks the zipper open and ducks out into the cool air, hoping the silence will tame the hunger that keeps her legs parted at night. Leslie walks home, mind still spinning with the strange flashes she can’t shake. She wants Sofia to see them too. Morgan steps inside. Karen greets her with a slow, knowing smile. They trade stories—Morgan’s run-in, Karen’s moment—and the details line up too neatly. Both women feel the same pull. Both women have the same itch. Leslie reaches the living room. A news report flickers on, bright and polished, yet useless. She glances at the framed photo on the shelf. The image tilts. Another vision crashes in. Sarah and Jenn sit across from each other. The spark that once kept their secret thrilling has dulled, replaced by something heavier, harder to name. Leslie finally tells Sofia everything. Sofia listens, then moves closer. Their mouths meet. Fingers slide beneath cotton and lace, cupping small, tight breasts, then the fuller weight of the other. They take their time—slow strokes, patient circles—until the room fills with soft, wet sounds and the low hum of two bodies rediscovering each other. Mid-credits, the camera cuts back to Amber. She’s frozen outside the tent, lips parted, staring at the horizon as if she can already feel the first crack in her promise.
