A Woman's Touch

Sarah's phone buzzes while Natalia lines her lips. One glance at the screen is enough. Her boyfriend's message is short, final, cruel. Sarah sinks onto the edge of the bed, eyes wet, saying she can't go out. Natalia doesn't argue. She only grabs her purse and leaves the room. Ten minutes later she returns with two pizza boxes and a chilled bottle of white, already barefoot, top changed to the thin silk tee that clings when she moves.
They eat cross-legged on the living-room rug, movie already flickering, sound low. Sarah says his name once, then never again. Natalia listens, nods, answers when asked, mostly lets silence hold the space. Between bites and sips the talk drifts: men who forget birthdays, men who finish first, men who keep score. Natalia laughs, low and throaty, then confesses she has stopped keeping count herself.
Sarah watches Natalia's mouth when she speaks. The room warms, or maybe it's the wine. When Natalia stretches, the silk rides up, brown skin flashing above her waistband. Sarah's hand finds that strip of skin before she plans it. A pause. Then Natalia's palm covers hers and presses it higher. The movie drones on, forgotten.
Later, Natalia leans in, tastes pizza and salt on Sarah's lips. Tongues slide, slow, testing. They undress each other without hurry, letting each new inch meet air and fingertips. Sarah arches when Natalia's mouth seals around her nipple, sucks until the ache slips lower. Natalia opens her legs, guides Sarah's hand between them, shows her how she likes to be stroked, circling, dipping, teasing until her hips jerk. Sarah learns quickly. She wants to. Two slick fingers push inside; Natalia moans her name like thanks.
They end up tangled on the couch, one bare thigh hooked over the other's shoulder, mouths busy and greedy, tasting sweat and heat. Every sigh, every wet sound is answered. They come pressed close, shaking, laughing into each other's skin when the aftershocks fade. No boyfriends. No explanations. Just skin learning new geography, and pleasure that needs no translation.
