Secret Selfies

Serene Siren massages for a living, every week smoothing out bodies and easing knots at the spa that bears her name. Kenna James arrives on a Tuesday, nervous fingers twisting at her appointment card. First time. Kenna tells the receptionist before snapping two quick selfies against the white wall when Serene slips away to warm the oils.
Kenna peels off her clothes without ceremony and slides naked under the sheet. Serene returns, the scent of lavender oil clouding the air. Hands, firm and sure, sweep over shoulders, down calves, circling spine with unhurried pressure. A low moan breaks from Kenna, less controlled than intended. She clings to silence until she can’t, until her breath rushes out in short bursts.
Serene pauses at the hip, knuckles brushing towel fabric. “Towel can go if you’d like me deeper,” she says, voice barely above the soft music. Kenna nods once. Sheet and towel glide to the floor. A camera shutter flicks across the quiet room; Kenna lifting her phone again, capturing the line of her body and, now, Serene’s bare arm beside it.
“What’re you doing?” Serene asks.
Kenna angles the screen so Serene can see: the profile photo she sells monthly to strangers. Another shutter-click. “My fans love early edits,” she murmurs.
Serene hesitates, fingertips still cupping warm skin. Want and caution rest on the same inhale. Then she sinks back into touch, sliding over breast and belly, moving lower until she tastes salt and lotion on her tongue. Kenna arches. Oils slick, latex crackles faintly from torn-open packets, laughter slips between them like something reckless and bright. When Serene finally meets Kenna’s mouth again she tastes herself on those parted lips and says nothing, but she stays while the shutter fires one last time, selfie captured: two bodies flush against linen, Serene’s flushed smile edged with surprise.
