Wrong Number, Right Girl

Kali Roses perches on her living room couch, her fingers drumming against the screen of her phone. She bites her lip, glances at the time again, and lets out a small, restless breath. He’s late. She just hopes he’ll actually show.
The bell finally cuts the quiet. Kali bolts upright, smooths her hair in one quick swipe, and hurries to the door, heart knocking in her throat. She swings it wide, already smiling.
Sophia Lux stands on the porch, all soft blond hair and cool blue eyes.
Kali’s smile drops. She blinks, words stumbling out before she can stop them.
“I… was expecting someone else.”
Sophia meets her look without a hint of surprise. “Actually, I’m here to see you.”
Kali lets her inside and they settle on the couch, a short distance apart. What follows is a gentle unraveling: the man Kali had been texting for weeks was never a man at all. Sophia admits she knew from the start that Kali was a woman. The picture just… skewed. A wrong name saved to the right number, the wrong picture never corrected. An easy, dangerous mistake.
Kali laughs, half-embarrassed, half-intrigued. “You’re really pretty,” she blurts. Sophia lifts an eyebrow, a tiny smile tugging at her mouth, and the air thickens. Their chatter slows until the next breath feels heavier.
Sophia leans in first. Their mouths brush, then press—tentative, then curious, then hungry. Clothes come undone in pieces. Sophia strips away Kali’s top, traces the little silver barbells in her nipples with her tongue, wet heat circling each tight peak until Kali gasps, fingers twisted tight in Sophia’s hair. Shorts drop. Sophia drops with them, sliding Kali’s thighs open and sinking her mouth between them like it’s where she belongs.
Kali’s back arches against the cushions, eyes squeezed shut, pleasure running straight down her spine. She doesn’t know what to call this, but it feels loud and perfect, too right to let her second-guess the name she thought she wanted.
