Amber's fingers traced the rim of her glass. She'd brought Brenda here to remind her what she missed. The tall leather booths at Ember promised nothing would interrupt them tonight. Conversation had rolled easy until Brenda mentioned the missed kiss two summers ago. Amber's eyebrow lifted. "Show me what stopped you." Brenda hesitated only a heartbeat. Then she leaned across the table, mouth parted. Amber met her halfway, tongue sliding past teeth, tasting gin and heat. One hand found Brenda's thigh under the white cloth and pushed higher, knuckles brushing silk underwear already damp at the center. Brenda's breath caught. Amber pressed two fingers in slow circles over the thin fabric until the wet patch spread. When she dipped beneath the lace and stroked the naked seam, Brenda's knees parted on instinct. Amber slid one finger inside, then two, thumb flicking the swollen nub above. Wet sounds were small and obscene beneath their table. "You're dripping," Amber whispered. She curled her fingers, pressing hard against the front wall until Brenda's spine arched and a tiny, helpless noise escaped her throat. Brenda's hand gripped Amber's wrist but didn't pull her away. Instead she rocked down, fucking herself on those fingers while the server cleared plates two tables over. Amber didn't let her come. She withdrew at the final shiver, licked her fingers clean, then signaled for the check.
