Prinzess pulled the car to the curb. She killed the engine, sat with both hands on the wheel and stared at the porch light two houses up the block. The night was sharp, the air thin. She got out, heels striking pavement like deliberate punctuation. Payton answered the bell before the second ring finished. Black satin robe open at the throat, skin still flushed from a bath. Prinzess stepped across the threshold, cupped the older woman’s face and kissed her hard, tongue pushing, claiming without apology. Payton’s mouth softened instantly, a wet sound in the quiet hall. Prinzess dropped to one knee, spread the woman’s thighs and buried her face between them, tongue firm and searching. Payton’s breath caught on a sharp little sound that rolled into a low moan. Prinzess worked in steady rhythm, two fingers sliding in alongside her tongue, knuckles glistening. Payton’s hand clamped around the back of her head, hips rolling up. The motion was greedy, certain. Every slick stroke pulled a deeper sound from her throat until her thighs trembled and she came with a stuttering cry that echoed off the walls. Afterward, Prinzess wiped her mouth on the inside of Payton’s knee and stood, already reaching for her belt. The night was still young.
