Lena hovered by the window, pacing in tight lines. Every time the moonlight slipped through the blinds she glanced out like the full moon might decide to come inside. She chewed her lip, fingers tapping the glass, until the soft knock at the door cut through everything.
Karlee stepped in, overnight bag on her shoulder. Lena’s gaze swept down her body in one hungry stroke before she looked away fast. She told Karlee to follow her, voice tight, almost businesslike. In the bedroom the leather cuffs caught the light—thick, already buckled to the frame. Karlee froze. Lena swallowed, then asked, begged really, to be strapped down.
Karlee’s brow creased. This wasn’t how friends ask for favors. Still, Lena promised answers once the straps were locked. Karlee clicked the restraints into place anyway, heart hammering, wondering what kind of night she’d signed up for.
Lena exhaled like a weight lifted off her chest. Then she confessed: the full moon turned her into something she couldn’t control. Straight by day, ravenous for women when the moon was whole. She needed to stay bound or she’d drag strangers into bed and regret it at sunrise. Her usual friend bailed. Karlee was all she had left.
Karlee blinked, half sure Lena was making excuses to get tied up for fun. But the raw plea in Lena’s eyes wasn’t joking, so she agreed to stay. She sat on the edge of the mattress and tried to look anywhere except Lena’s wrists bound above her head.
As midnight crept closer, Lena’s breathing changed—slower, thicker. Her thighs shifted against the sheets. She started talking low, filthy promises that curled straight between Karlee’s legs. Every word drew heat up Karlee’s spine. She crossed her arms, tried to laugh it off, but the hunger in Lena’s stare only burned hotter.
By two in the morning the room smelled like want. Lena licked her lips, tugged at the cuffs until the leather creaked, and asked what harm one little release could do. Karlee’s fingers hovered over the first buckle, pulse loud in her ears, weighing the idea of giving in.
