Sharing Our Crush

Kimmy and Alison have barely unpacked when Penny appears. The older woman takes the drive from their trembling hands and loads the cut on screen. Her praise comes steady. Tight pacing. Bold camera work. Real promise beyond the classroom. The girls stop listening. Their eyes move over her legs, her mouth, the deliberate way she settles back into their couch. Kimmy is the first to crack. "We really like you." Alison swallows and adds, "A lot." Their voices tangle, their eagerness obvious. Penny raises an eyebrow, half amused, half intrigued. Before she answers, both girls lunge for her. Kimmy grabs one wrist, Alison the other, each tugging without grace. The little tug-of-war turns silly fast. "Enough," Penny says, firm but calm. She pries them apart with gentle strength and draws them in again. "We don’t fight. Not when there’s more than enough to go around." She presses one kiss to Kimmy’s open mouth, another to Alison’s, then keeps them close so each girl can taste what the other just received. Fingers slide beneath fabric. Skin warms. Clothes drop in quiet sequence until the three of them shift together in slow, deliberate rhythm, learning the give and slide of one another like a new cut waiting to be refined.
