Small Town Woes

Kylie Rocket lives alone in a small town with no other lesbians around. She’s tired of waiting. Then a new family moves in next door. She knocks, already expecting the usual polite small talk, until Lily Larimar opens the door. Kylie stumbles through her own name, cheeks hot, and somehow ends up inside. On the couch, she tries to focus on words instead of Lily’s mouth, her thighs, the easy way Lily laughs. The conversation drifts. Kylie almost says the word—lesbian—then catches herself. Lily hears anyway. She smiles and says it for her. The air thickens. They lean in without deciding to. Kylie’s hand finds Lily’s knee. Lily doesn’t move it. Another inch. Then another.
