Spencer Bradley—school nurse—walks Liz Jordan home, phone useless in her pocket. The house is empty, parents MIA, so Spencer figures the right thing is putting the girl to bed. A few quiet minutes and the blanket is tucked under Liz’s chin. Spencer steps out to ring the numbers again. The moment the door clicks, Liz smiles. Vacation—Parents gone, house quiet, nurse still inside. Spencer returns, resolute. “I’m not leaving till they answer.” “I’m burning up,” Liz murmurs. Spencer hesitates, then peels the tee and bra away. Liz’s small, tight breasts flush under the cool air; Spencer swallows and smooths the fabric aside like any professional would. Liz places Spencer’s hand between them. “Feel how fast it’s going?” Spencer’s palm settles on bare skin, pulse drumming under warm flesh. Heat crawls up her wrist. A shiver follows. “Cold now. Come here.” Spencer pauses, logic cracking, then slips beneath the covers, front to Liz’s back, arm snug around ribs. Liz presses closer, grinding softly, nipples grazing Spencer’s forearm. Tension builds, breath hitches. When Liz turns and finds Spencer’s mouth, the nurse stops thinking. Hands meet skin, legs tangle. She tells herself it’s her job, after all: make the patient feel good.
