Nerds Rule!: Comic Relief

Lacy Lennon and Lily Larimar sit shoulder-to-shoulder on the living-room floor, two comic book lovers who just got the one thing they were finally old enough to own. The plastic bag from the shop is still on the couch. They open the glossy pages and the first panel hits them square in the face: breasts drawn twice the size of anything real, two cartoon women bent like acrobats. Lacy’s eyebrows shoot up. Lily laughs, but the sound comes out thinner the second time. Page by page the drawings get bolder. Nipples brush, fingers slip between thighs, and the glossy ink seems to warm under their eyes. Their breathing changes. Lacy’s hand, resting on her own knee, drifts an inch closer to Lily’s. Lily answers by angling her thigh so the redhead’s knuckles graze bare skin. A beat later they’re kissing, the comic forgotten between their knees. Lacy’s tongue is soft, curious. Lily answers with a small, hungry sound and slides her hand under Lacy’s shirt, palm gliding over small, natural breasts. She thumbs a nipple until it tightens, then slips lower, easing inside Lacy’s waistband. Lacy parts her legs, hips lifting to meet the first slow press of Lily’s fingers. The comic lies open beside them, two drawn bodies mirroring the real ones now moving on the carpet.
