You're Both Acting Stubborn

Two wives, Amari Anne and Avery Black, step into the massage parlor looking anything but happy. Avery thrusts a gift certificate at Petra Blair the masseuse, claiming they want a couple's massage. Petra glances at the voucher and shakes her head: it's only valid for one person. Amari’s eyes flash. “You never pay attention,” she snaps. They fire barbed words at each other right in front of Petra, voices rising without a trace of shame. Petra listens for a moment, then clears her throat and offers a compromise—she’ll massage them both, even though she’ll be stretched thin. The wives hesitate; they don’t even want the massage anymore, yet they grumble and accept. Inside the private room, Petra moves from table to table, her palms firm, working out stubborn knots. Bit by bit the tension drains away, though neither wife will admit it feels good. Petra smiles to herself. “You’re both stubborn,” she murmurs, “it’s fine to enjoy this.” The wives soften, exchange sheepish apologies, and kiss. The kiss deepens. Petra watches, hands still gliding over skin, letting them have at it.
