She came apart first. A quick shiver ran through her and then she went under, clutching the sheets like she might fall through them. He stayed right there, tasting her like she belonged in his mouth, until her thighs stopped shaking around his head. When he rose over her he was already slick at the head and her body took him without argument, hot and greedy. He pressed in slow, hips rolling once they were flush, then again and again with no let-up until each thrust knocked a breath out of her. She dragged her nails across his back, leaving bright trails that burned. The room smelled like sweat and the salt of skin. He caught her wrists, pinned them above her head, and kept her there, moving deeper, chasing the edge they both knew was waiting. When it broke he buried the sound of it against her neck, hips stuttering once, twice, then going still inside her while his pulse hammered at her collarbone.
