Nina sat cross-legged on her bed, textbooks open, chasing the half-hour of quiet she'd been promised. Next door Adele's voice scraped the walls—sharp, rising, another round of "You never listen." The door flew back. Adele stood in the frame, eyes red, phone still clenched. "Nina... she won't see me again. I thought the first date went so good. Why won't she give me a second chance?" Nina shut her book. She patted the mattress. Adele dropped down, knees touching, and the story tumbled out: too much wine, a clumsy touch, a text left on read. "Show her the part of you that listens," Nina said, sliding closer, voice low and steady. Her hand settled on Adele's thigh—warm, staying. Adele leaned in, salt still on her lips from crying. Nina brushed a strand of hair from her face, thumb grazing the corner of her mouth. Adele caught the thumb between her teeth, gentle at first, then sucking just enough to drag a quick breath from Nina. "Let her feel how much you want her," Nina whispered, easing Adele onto her back. Fingers slipped under cotton, found heat already slick. Adele arched, hips lifting into the slow circles Nina drew around her clit. The phone hit the floor, forgotten. Nina kissed down the line of her throat, teeth catching skin, while two fingers slid inside—slow, full, curling just enough to make Adele moan her name like an answer.
