Emma Hix just wants a quiet day when a knock on the door breaks the silence. She opens it to find Aaliyah Hadid, clutching a set of encyclopedias and flashing a bright smile. Emma isn’t buying—until Aaliyah grins and drops her voice. “Special lesbian edition. Call it the Encyclezpedia Clitannica.”
Curiosity wins. Emma invites her in.
They sit on the couch, knees almost touching, as Aaliyah flips pages and rattles off facts. Ninety percent of women have pictured themselves with another woman, the book claims. Emma laughs, half scoffing, but her eyes keep flicking down to the bare curve of Aaliyah’s collarbone.
Aaliyah notices. “Only one way to test a theory,” she says, already peeling off her blouse. Skin follows. Emma watches, frozen yet throbbing, as Aaliyah stands there naked and unashamed.
“If you like girls, you’re feeling it now.”
Emma swallows. “You’re beautiful, but—”
Aaliyah grabs Emma’s wrists, presses soft palms to the weight of her own breasts. The heat floods straight between Emma’s thighs. Her fingers squeeze, breath catching. For once, facts feel irrelevant.
“Maybe today’s the best day of my life,” Emma whispers.
Aaliyah answers with a hungry kiss. Clothes drop in a rush, skin on skin, mouths and fingers and tongues learning one another in sudden, bright discovery. Every lick, every squeeze writes a new entry neither of them will ever forget.
