A slim woman crouches on soft hotel sheets, honey colored light warming the curve of her thigh. Sometime around 3 a.m. She wears lace so thin it pretends to be invisible—olive-dark nipples peek through anyway. Her spine is arched, a thin line of sweat sliding down it to the swell of her hip; it stops at the groove between her cheek and pauses, then slips farther, tracing down the crease.
