A Bet Between Friends

Charlotte and Lily sat on the bed in Lily’s bedroom, the air between them heavy and still. Charlotte asked how the bet stood. Lily looked away, sheepish. Then she confessed—she’d lost.
Charlotte smacked her with a pillow. “Lily!” she shouted, incredulous. “You weren’t even going to tell me?”
Lily flushed. “Of course I was,” she muttered. “I was just embarrassed. I couldn’t last two weeks. Couldn’t even stay away from one lousy guy.”
Charlotte arched a brow. “So, was it worth it?”
Lily laughed, but it came out thin. “Is it ever? He barely looked at me the whole night.”
Charlotte’s eyes gleamed. “And what about you—did you suck him?”
“Ew, no,” Lily snapped.
Charlotte leaned back, stretching long and slow. “Doesn’t matter what happened. A bet’s a bet. You lost. Time to pay up.”
Lily groaned. “Just give me another chance—”
Charlotte didn’t budge.
Lily gave in. The terms were simple: loser massages the winner. So Lily climbed onto her knees behind Charlotte and began to rub her shoulders.
Charlotte faced forward. “Feels good to win.”
“Shut up,” Lily mumbled, but her hands didn’t slow.
They were quiet for a while, the silence only broken by Charlotte’s steady breath and the soft drag of Lily’s fingers.
Then Charlotte said, almost to herself, “Can’t believe that guy barely noticed you. Boys are so stupid.”
She looked back over her shoulder, eyes dark and knowing. “You know, there’s a way to skip all that shit.”
Lily’s hands paused. “Like what? I don’t want to be a virgin or just touch myself forever.”
Charlotte turned to face her. “I meant women.”
Lily blinked. “I’ve never even thought about that.”
Charlotte smiled, low and calm. “Think about it now. They notice things. They’re soft. They know what you want before you say it.”
Lily’s face was still, thoughtful. “Wait—so is that how you stayed away from guys? You’ve been hooking up with girls?”
Charlotte shrugged. “I’m not into boys. I like women. The bet was never hard for me.”
Lily opened her mouth, then closed it. She didn’t know what to say.
Charlotte reached forward and touched her thigh. Her fingers were warm, firm. “You don’t have to say anything,” she whispered. “I’m your best friend. You can trust me. You can try things with me.”
Lily swallowed. “What kind of things?”
Charlotte moved closer. “The kind of things that feel good… between girls.”
She leaned in, mouth soft and deliberate, and kissed her.
Lily kissed her back.
It didn’t stay soft. Charlotte stripped Lily’s top off and sucked her nipples until Lily moaned, back arching. Then Lily’s shorts were gone and Charlotte was between her legs, mouth lowering to that smooth, bare cunt—slow, certain, deliberate.
She wasn’t done with Lily yet.
And Lily wasn’t thinking about boys anymore.
