Ella Knox calls out for her mom and hears nothing back. She smiles, thinking she has the place to herself, until a voice calls from the living room. Penny Pax sits on the couch in a tight blue dress, legs crossed, the fabric barely hiding the curves beneath. Ella asks who she is. An old friend of your mother’s, Penny answers. Ella mutters something about studying and starts to leave when Penny mentions working in biology. Suddenly the idea of upstairs tutoring feels tempting. Up in Ella’s bedroom the tutoring turns into touches. Penny’s hands roam across breasts, slide between thighs, find warm, wet heat. Ella gasps under that practiced mouth, her hips lifting, nipples drawn hard between Penny’s fingers. The door swings open. Reagan Foxx stops cold. She demands to know what they’re doing, voice low and sharp. Penny doesn’t flinch. She’s Reagan’s lover. Ella realizes she’s been played. When Ella tries to leave, Penny catches her wrist. Different lovers have never been a problem, she says. Maybe they can all learn something together. The suggestion hangs in the air, thick, electric. Reagan steps closer. Then she kisses Ella, tasting the uncertainty on her lips, and soon enough clothes are off, bodies pressed and sliding. Fingers dip, tongues work, moans grow louder. By the time the sheets are damp and tangled, Ella knows the grade has already been decided.
